New England Patriots 49, Buffalo Bills 21

The Bills jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and that seemed to piss the Patriots off, as they scored the last 49 points in this game!  Ryan Fitzpatrick had one good quarter and three bad ones yesterday as he completed 29 of 46 passes for 307 yards with 2 TD passes and 4 INTs (0ne was returned 21 yards for a TD by Pats’ CB Sterling Moore).  Fitzpatrick also carried the ball 5 times for 36 yards (7.2 ypc) in this game.  C.J. Spiller led the way on the ground for the Bills with 60 yards rushing on 13 carries (4.6 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 40 yards (10.0 avg) with 1 TD grab.  Tashard Choice only carried the ball one time, but it went for a 4-yard TD.  WRs Derek Hagan (7 rec, 89 yards), Ruvell Martin (4 rec, 42 yards) and Steve Johnson (4 rec, 40 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game for the Bills.  The Bills finished up with 106 yards rushing on 20 carries (5.3 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 46 passes (63%) for 296 yards as they had possession of the ball for 30:22.

The defense was pretty awful yesterday for the Bills.  LB Nick Barnett (11 tackles, 2 passes defensed and 1 interception), safety George Wilson (10 tackles) and safety Bryan Scott (7 tackles) led the way for the Bills on D in this game.  DT Kellen Heard really stepped up with 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for a loss and 1 QB hit in this game.  The Patriots finished up with 138 yards rushing on 29 carries (4.8 ypc) and they also completed 24 of 36 passes (66.7%) for 342 yards.  The Bills finish the 2011 season with a 6-10 record.

Buffalo Bills 40, Denver Broncos 14

The Bills won this game in every phase as they kicked the crap out of the Broncos last Saturday in Buffalo.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was a game manager for the Bills in this game as he completed 15 of 27 passes (55.6%) for 196 yards with 0 TD passes or INTs.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 22 yards (7.3 ypc) in this game.  C.J. Spiller was awesome in this game for the Bills with 16 carries for 111 yards (6.9 ypc) with 1 TD run and he also caught 2 passes for 27 yards (13.5 avg).  Tashard Choice pitched in with 27 yards rushing on 9 carries (3.0 ypc) in this game.  WRs Steve Johnson (4 rec, 92 yards) and David Nelson (3 rec, 41 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Bills in this game.  The Bills finished up with 160 yards rushing on 28 carries (5.7 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 27 passes (55.6%) for 191 yards as they had possession of the ball for 29:29.

The defense and special teams were awesome for the Bills in this game.  CB Leodis McKelvin returned 3 punts for 145 yards (48.3 avg) with a 80-yard TD return in this game.  OLB Chris Kelsay (9 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, 1 pass defensed and 2 QB hits) led the way for the Bills on D in this game.  Safety Jairus Byrd (7 tackles, 1 pass defensed and a interception that he returned 37 yards for a TD), LB Kelvin Sheppard (7 tackles and 1 pass defensed) and DE Spencer Johnson (6 tackles, 1 pass defensed and a interception that he returned 17 yards for a TD) also had a huge impact in this game for the Bills.  CBs Justin Rogers and Aaron Williams also pitched in with intercetpions in this game.  The Broncos finished up with 133 yards rushing on 35 carries (3.8 ypc) and they also completed 13 of 30 passes (43.3%) for 160 yards.  The Bills are now 6-9 on the season.

The Bills lost this game early as they fell way behind.  They had a late surge to make the score look a lot closer than the game actually was.  Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 31 of 47 passes for 316 yards with 2 TD passes and 3 INTs.  He also carried the ball 2 times for 7 yards.  C.J. Spiller had another really good game for the Bills today with 12 carries for 91 yards (7.6 ypc) with 1 TD run and he also caught 9 passes for 76 yards (8.4 avg) with 1 TD grab.  Tashard Choice pitched in with 5 carries for 15 yards (3.0 ypc) and 3 receptions for 41 yards (13.7 avg).  WRs Steve Johnson (5 rec, 82 yards), David Nelson (6 rec, 60 yards) and Derek Hagan (2 rec, 12 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game for the Bills yesterday.  The Bills finished up with 113 yards on 19 carries (5.9 ypc) and they also completed 31 of 47 passes (66%) for 291 yards as they had possession of the ball for 31:11.

The defense was pathetic for the Bills in this game.  LB Nick Barnett (8 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss), Chris Kelsay (7 tackles and 1 sack) and safety George Wilson (7 tackles) led the way for the Bills in this game.  The Dolphins finished up with 254 yards rushing on 38 carries (6.7 ypc) and they also completed 10 of 20 passes (50%) for 194 yards.  The Bills are now 5-9 on the year.

San Diego Chargers 37, Buffalo Bills 10

The Bills looked terrible yesterday in San Diego.  Ryan Fitzpatrick flat out stunk yesterday as he completed 13 of 34 passes for 176 yards with 0 TD passes and 2 INTs (one of which was returned 26 yards by safety Steve Gregory for a TD).  Tyler Thigpen finished up this game by completing 2 of 3 passes for 19 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 interception.  C.J. Spiller led the way for the Bills on the ground with 46 yards rushing on 12 carries (3.8 ypc).  He also caught 3 passes for 10 yards (3.3 avg) in this game.  WR Steve Johnson led the way for the Bills in the passing game with 4 grabs for 116 yards (29.0 avg).  The Bills finished up with 96 yards rushing on 20 carries (4.8 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 37 passes (40.5%) for 185 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 24:27.

The Bills were pretty awful on D in this game.  LB Kelvin Sheppard led the way for the Bills on D in this game with 14 tackles.  Safety Bryan Scott (8 tackles, 1 pass defensed and a fumble recovery in the end zone for a TD), LB Nick Barnett (8 tackles) and DT Marcell Dareus (5 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for a loss and 2 QB hits) also had decent games for the Bills.  The Chargers finished up with 150 yards rushing on 32 carries (4.7 ypc) and they also completed 24 of 33 passes (72.7%) for 216 yards in this game.  The Bills are now 5-8 on the year.

The Buffalo Bills just couldn’t convert all of the yards they got offensively into enough points to win today.  Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 29 of 46 passes for 288 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 INTs.  C.J. Spiller was pretty solid in this game as he rushed for 83 yards on 14 carries (5.9 ypc) with 1 TD run.  He also caught 3 passes for 19 yards (6.3 avg) for the Bills in this game.  Tashard Choice pitched in with 5 carries for 20 yards (4.0 ypc) in this game.  WR Brad Smith (7 rec, 72 yards) and Steve Johnson (5 rec, 52 yards, TD) led the way for the Bills in the passing game today.  The Bills finished up with 97 yards rushing on 23 carries (4.2 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 46 passes (63%) for 282 yards in this game as they had possession of the ball for 31:46.

The Bills just couldn’t stop Chris Johnson and the Titans’ running game today.  LB Nick Barnett led the way for the Bills today with 11 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit.  Safeties Jairus Byrd (9 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss) and Da’Norris Searcy (9 tackles) also had solid games for the Bills today.  The Titans finished up with 97 yards rushing on 23 carries (4.2 ypc) and they also completed 29 of 46 passes (63%) for 282 yards in this game.  The Bills are now 5-7 on the season.

New York Jets 28, Buffalo Bills 24

The Buffalo Bills gave the Jets a real fight today in New Jersey, before falling a tad short.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was outstanding as he completed 26 of 39 passes for 264 yards with 3 TD passes and 0 INTs.  He also carried the ball 5 times for 34 yards (6.8 ypc) in this game.  C.J Spiller had a rough game as he carried the ball 19 times for 55 yards (2.9 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 15 yards (5.0 avg).  WRs Brad Smith (4 rec, 77 yards), Stevie Johnson (8 rec, 75 yards) and David Nelson (5 rec, 47 yards) each caught 1 TD pass apiece today.  TE Scott Chandler also had a solid game as he caught 6 passes for 50 yards (8.3 avg) in this game.  The Bills finished up with 86 yards rushing on 28 carries (3.1 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 39 passes (66.7%) for 250 yards as they had possession of the ball for 36:11.

The defense didn’t play too good today for the Bills.  LB Nick Barnett (8 tackles), CB Drayton Florence (4 tackles, 3 passes defensed and 1 interception) and CB Leodis  McKelvin (1 tackle and 1 fumble recovery) led the way for the Bills on D in this game.  The Jets finished up with 138 yards rushing on 23 carries (6.0 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 35 passes (48.6%) for 180 yards in this game.  The Bills are now 5-6 on the season.

Miami Dolphins 35, Buffalo Bills 8

The Buffalo Bills ran into a buzzsaw in South Florida yesterday as the Dolphins punished them all day long.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was awful once again as he completed 20  of 39 passes for 209 yards with 0 TD passes and 2 INTs.  He also carried the ball 7 times for 16 yards (2.3 ypc) and he fumbled three times, losing none of them.  Tyler Thigpen finished up this game at QB by completing 1 of 5 passes for 6 yards without a TD pass or INT.  Fred Jackson led the way on the ground for the Bills with 17 yards rushing on 7 carries (2.4 ypc) but he did catch 5 passes for 50 yards (10.0 avg).  TE Scott Chandler (5 rec, 71 yards) and WR Brad Smith (3 rec, 35 yards) led the way in the passing game for the Bills yesterday.  The Bills finished up with 41 yards rushing on 19 carries (2.2 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 44 passes (47.7%) for 206 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 28:54.

The defense actually played really well yesterday, the Fins started out with a lot of short fields offensively.  Safety Da’Norris Searcy led the way for the Bills in this game defensively with 11 tackles.  LBs Nick Barnett (7 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and 1 QB hit) and Kelvin Sheppard (7 tackles and a tackle for a loss with resulted in a safety) also were very active yesterday.  The Dolphins finished up with 95 yards rushing on 35 carries (2.7 ypc) and they also completed 14 of 20 passes (70%) for 147 yards.  The Bills are now 5-5 on the year.

Dallas Cowboys 44, Buffalo Bills 7

The Buffalo Bills got thrashed yesterday in Dallas.  Ryan Fitzpatrick looked horrible again as he completed 20 of 31 passes for 146 yards with 1 TD pass and 3 INTs.  He also carried the ball 3 times for 20 yards (6.7 ypc) in this game.  Fred Jackson rushed for 114 yards on 13 carries (8.8 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 1 yard (0.3 avg) in this game.  WR Donald Jones (6 rec, 51 yards), TE Scott Chandler (3 rec, 34 yards) and WR David Nelson (4 rec, 31 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game for the Bills.  The Bills finished up with 135 yards rushing on 17 carries (7.9 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 31 passes (64.5%) for 136 yards as they only had possession of the ball for 25:28.

The defense was awful for the Bills yesterday, plain and simple!  Safety George Wilson (8 tackles), safety Jairus Byrd (8 tackles) and CB Terrence McGee (6 tackles) led the way for the Bills on D in this game.  The Cowboys rushed for 163 yards on 35 carries (4.7 ypc) and they also completed 23 of 26 passes (88.5%) for 270 yards in this game.  The Bills are now 5-4 on the season as they are tied with the Jets for second place in the AFC East, 1 game behind the Patriots.

The Bills got bullied yesterday by the Jets yesterday, just like I thought they would.  Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 15 of 31 passes for 191 yards with 1 TD pass and 2 INTs.  He also carried the ball 2 times for 9 yards (4.5 ypc) in this game.  Fred Jackson led the way on the ground with 82 yards rushing on 18 carries (4.6 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 38 yards (12.7 avg).  WRs Steve Johnson (3 rec, 84 yards) and David Nelson (4 rec, 36 yards, TD) led the way for the Bills in the passing game yesterday.  The Bills finished up with 96 yards rushing on 22 carries (4.4 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 31 passes (48.4%) for 191 yards as they had possession of the ball for only 22:08.

The defense didn’t play too well yesterday for the Bills.  LB Nick Barnett (9 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss), CB Terrence McGee (8 tackles) and LB Kelvin Sheppard (7 tackles) led the way for the Bills in this game.  Safety Jairus Byrd (6 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) and DT Marcell Dareus (5 tackles and 1 fumble recovery) also had solid games for the Bills yesterday.  The Jets finished up with 126 yards rushing on 39 carries (3.2 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 222 yards.  The Bills are now 5-3 on the year.

Buffalo Bills 23, Washington Redskins 0

The Buffalo Bills completely dominated the Redskins yesterday in Toronto.  Ryan Fitzpatrick was very solid once again as he completed 21 of 27 passes for 262 yards with 2 TD passes and 1 INT.  RB Fred Jackson had another outstanding game for the Bills as he rushed for 120 yards on 26 carries (4.6 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 74 yards.  WR Steve Johnson (6 rec, 57 yards), WR David Nelson (4 rec, 47 yards) and TE Scott Chandler (2 rec, 35 yards, 2 TD grabs) really boosted the passing game for the Bills yesterday.  The Bills finished up with 138 yards rushing on 33 carries (4.2 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 27 passes (77.8%) for 252 yards as they had possession of  the ball for 34:51.

The Bills came into this game with only 4 sacks, but they sacked Redskins’ QB John Beck an amazing 9 times yesterday.  LB Nick Barnett (10 tackles, 1/2 a sack and 1 QB hit) and safety George Wilson (9 tackles, 1 pass defensed and 1 interception) dominated for the Bills’ D yesterday.  Rookie DE/DT Marcell Dareus was outstanding in this game with 4 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and 3 QB hits).  DE Dwan Edwards pitched in with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 1.5 sacks and 4 QB hits also had a very, very solid game for the Bills.  The Redskins could only muster 26 yards rushing on 12 carries (2.2 ypc) and they completed 20 of 33 passes (60.6%) for 152 yards in this game.  The Bills are now 5-2 on the year.
