The Bills have signed 31-year old inside linebacker Andra Davis to a 2-year deal.  Davis played in 16 games last season for the Broncos in which he made 90 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, he had 3.5 sacks and he defensed 3 passes.  He has now played in 121 games in his NFL career in which he has made 732 tackles, defensed 29 passes, has 12 sacks, he has forced 4 fumbles and he has 8 interceptions.  The Bills made a smart move here as Davis is a darn good inside linebacker.

The Bills have signed 28-year old DT Dwan Edwards to a 4-year deal.  Edwards played in all 16 games for the Ravens last season in which he made 47 tackles, defensed 1 pass and he had 1 sack.  He has now played in 56 games in his NFL career in which he has made 119 tackles, defensed 4 passes, he has 2 sacks, forced 1 fumble and he has 1 interception.  This was a good move for the Bills as Edwards should help them with the run defense in 2010 and beyond.

The Bills have signed 33-year old offensive tackle Cornell Green to a 3-year, $9 million dollar deal.  The 6’6″, 315 pound Green will likely be the starting right tackle for the Bills in 2010.  Green played in 12 games (all starts) for the Raiders last season.  He has now played in 89 games (46 starts) in his NFL career.  Green will be a improvement over Jonathan Scott who signed with the Steelers.
