Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots preview

The Buffalo Bills (5-8) are hosting the New England Patriots (8-5) this week, and they are trying to end a 12 game losing streak against the Pats.  They nearly won against the Patriots in week one, but that was when Tom Brady was still getting his game back.  Brady has been battling some injuries lately though, so hopefully he wont be full strength on Sunday.  The Patriots will likely run the ball a lot either way, as the Bills have been awful at stopping the run.  They need to do a much better job than the 170 yard average they are giving up this year.  Patriots’ running back Laurence Maroney will make them pay if they don’t get some penetration and clog up some holes.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has to play better than what he has been showing the last two games.  He failed to reach 100 yards passing in both of those games, and if he does that again they will not win.  Hopefully Terrell Owens will be able to play in this one, as he and Fitzpatrick have been hooking up for some big plays.  TO is listed as questionable though, battling an illness.  Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch have been running the ball well as of late, so they should be able to do some damage against the Pats run defense.  They are still the Patriots though, and as long as they have Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and Wes Welker they will be successful against the Bills.

FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:  Buffalo Bills 14, New England Patriots 24
