Roscoe Parrish is likely on his way out for the Buffalo Bills
27-year old Roscoe Parrish has been a fumbling machine this year and it earned him a spot on the bench. Fred Jackson has taken over his role as the kickoff and punt returner for the Bills. Parrish has played in 6 games this season for the Bills and he has carried the ball 2 times for 4 yards (2.0 ypc) and he has also caught 1 pass for 25 yards. Parrish has returned 14 punts for 73 yards (5.2 avg) and 11 kickoffs for 258 yards (23.5 avg) this year. I have a feeling the Bills will either cut Parrish after the season or trade him for a late round pick in next April’s NFL Draft. Parrish has played in 61 games in his 5 years with the Bills and he has carried the ball 11 times for 48 yards (4.4 ypc) and he has caught 98 passes for 1,077 yards (11.0 avg) with 5 TD grabs. Parrish has now returned 108 punts for 1,385 yards (12.8 avg) with 2 TD returns and he has returned 29 kickoffs for 685 yards (23.6 avg). While Parrish has made some big plays on special teams in the past it’s about time for him to move on.
