Trent Edwards is back as the starting QB of the Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards will be back under center when the Bills return off the bye this week against the Titans in Tennessee. Edwards has been out the last few weeks due to a concussion. He has completed 91 of 153 passes (59.5%) for 985 yards with 5 TD passes and 6 INTs (73.0 QB Rating). He has also carried the ball 11 times for 102 yards (9.3 ypc) this season. Edwards has a much stronger arm than backup Ryan Fitzpatrick but he holds the ball too long as he has been sacked 19 times this year. He’s starting to remind me a lot of Rob Johnson. Ryan Fitzpatrick has competed 36 of 70 passes (51.4%) for 356 yards with 2 TD passes and 3 INTs (57.8 QB Rating). He has also carried the ball 14 times for 30 yards (2.1 ypc) so far this season. The Bills will have to make a decision on the QB position after this season so Edwards better step up if he wants to remain the starter in Buffalo after this year.
