Buffalo Bills 33, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20

The Buffalo Bills looked like a good football team yesterday.  Trent Edwards had a solid game completing 21 of 31 passes for 230 yards with 2 TD passes and 1 interception.  Fred Jackson had a huge game carrying the ball 28 times for 163 yards (5.8 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 25 yards (6.3 avg).  TE Derek Schouman led the way in the passing game for the Bills with 6 catches for 62 yards (10.3 avg).  Terrell Owens also made his presence felt with 3 catches for 52 yards (17.3 avg) with a TD.  He also carried the ball 1 time for 13 yards in his game.  The Bills finished up with 438 total yards on offense (218 rushing, 220 passing) in this game.

The defense played a solid game for the Bills yesterday.  LB Keith Ellison led the way for the Bills yesterday with 11 tackles.  Safeties Bryan Scott (9 tackles, interception) and Donte Whitner (8 tackles and a interception that he returned 76 yards for a TD) were also impact players for the Bills against the Bucs.  The Bucs finished up with 353 total yards (57 rushing, 296 passing) yesterday.  The Bills showed a lot of heart in bouncing back from last week’s loss to the Patriots improving to 1-1 on the season.
