Buffalo Bills 31, St. Louis Rams 14
Things were looking bad after three quarters with the Rams up 14-13, but, then the lights came on for the Bills outscoring the Rams 18-0 in the 4th quarter to run away with a win. Trent Edwards was efficient in this game completing 15 of 25 passes for 197 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception. Marshawn Lynch was a busy guy in this game with 19 carries for 57 yards (3.0 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 24 yards (6.0 avg). Fred Jackson also had a good game with 46 yards rushing on 7 carries (6.6 ypc) with a TD run. He also caught 3 passes for 9 yards. Lee Evans led the Bills’ in receiving yards with 88 on 2 catches (44.0 avg) one of his grabs was good for a 39-yard TD. The Bills finished up with 111 yards rushing on 31 carries (3.6 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 25 passes for 166 yards.
Paul Poslusny led a good Bills’ effort on defense with 8 tackles. DB Jabari Greer only had two tackles but he made the biggest play of the game for the Bills intercepting a pass and returning in 33 yards for a TD. Greer’s TD put the Bills ahead in this game to stay at the start of the 4th quarter. The Rams finished up with 167 yards rushing on 29 carries (5.8 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 33 passes for 213 yards. The Bills improved to 4-0 on the season with this win.
