Dick Jauron took a team that was stripped of some key personnel and the Bills suffered a lot of injuries to the defense but they still finished in 2nd place in the AFC East with a 7-9 record.  Jauron has now been the head coach of the Buffalo Bills for two seasons and he has compiled a 14-18 record (.438 %).  Jauron has been a head coach five seasons in the NFL with the Bills and Bears and he has compiled a 35-45 (43.8%) record and he’s 0-1 in the post season.

J.P. Losman was the starting QB when the year began but rookie Trent Edwards bumped him from the job.  Edwards showed poise early in the season before fading badly down the stretch so it will be interesting to see how the Bills handle their QB situation this off-season.  Edwards played in 10 games this season for the Bills and he completed 151 of 269 passes (56.1%) for 1,630 yards with 7 TD passes and 8 interceptions (70.4 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 14 times for 49 yards (3.5 ypc).

J.P. Losman played in 8 games last season for the Bills and he completed 111 of 175 passes (63.4%) for 1,204 yards with 4 TD passes and 6 interceptions (76.9 QB Rating).  He also carried the football 20 times for 110 yards (5.5 ypc).  Losman has now played in 37 games in his NFL career and he has completed 495 of 837 passes (59.1%) for 5,627 yards with 31 TD passes and 29 interceptions (77.3 QB Rating).  He also has carried the ball 91 times for 419 yards (4.6 ypc) with 1 TD run.
