I’m still stunned that the Bills lost this football game. How can you lose when you return two out of five interceptions to the house for TDs and return a kickoff 103 yards for a TD? The Bills found a way. Linebacker John DiGiorgio led the way for the Bills defense with 9 tackles and an interception. CB/KR Terrence McGee also had an outstanding game as he made 7 tackles and returned a kickoff 103 yards for a TD. DE Chris Kelsey has 2 tackles and he batted a pass into the air and caught it on his way to the end zone for a TD. Safety George Wilson had 4 tackles and he also picked off a pass and returned it 25 yards for a TD. Angelo Crowell and Jabari Greer each also had an interception in this game. As good as the defense played…..they allowed 9 points in the final 24 seconds of this game to lose! The Cowboys rushed for 76 yards on 22 carries (3.5 ypc) and they completed 29 of 50 passes for 309 yards.

The offense could have helped the Bills win this game if they just had played a little bit better. Rookie QB Trent Edwards completed 23 of 31 passes for 176 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 big interception in the 4th quarter. Marshawn Lynch also found yards hard to come by as he carried the ball 20 times for 66 yards (3.3 ypc) and he also caught 2 passes for 32 yards (16.0 avg). WRs Roscoe Parrish (6 rec, 37 yards) and Josh Reed (5 rec, 35 yards) were the leading receivers for the Bills. The Bills finished up with 81 yards rushing on 24 carries (3.4 ypc) and they completed 23 of 31 passes for 148 yards.
