Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Buffalo Bills have been playing good football lately as they’ve won 4 of their last 6 games. The Ravens have been dominant for awhile now as they’ve won 8 of their last 9 games.
This looks like a very tough matchup for the Bills. The Bills will attempt to run the ball with Willis McGahee (967 yards rushing) and Anthony Thomas against a Ravens defense that is only allowing 78.3 yards rushing and 3.3 yards per carry this season. The Bills like to throw the ball deep, but will likely have to shorten their pass routes due to the fact that they’ve allowed 44 sacks this season and the Ravens are blitzing demons on defense that already have 57 sacks. Lee Evans (75 rec, 1,147 yards) vs. the Ravens corners will be fun to watch all game long.
The Ravens will likely keep the ball on the ground more than usual due to the poor Bills run defense that is allowing 142.9 yards rushing an 4.8 yards per carry so far this season. Jamal Lewis (1,063 yards rushing) should have one of his best games of the season on Sunday. The Ravens must keep Aaron Schobel (14 sacks) away from Steve McNair. If McNair has time to throw (the Ravens have only allowed 17 sacks this season) he should have a good game. He likes to spread the catches around to TE Todd Heap and WRs Mark Clayton and Derrick Mason.
This should be a low scoring game that is won by the Ravens. JP Losman will make a couple of big errors under duress from the Ravens pass rush and it will cost the Bills any chance of an upset.
