The Bills wanted to play ball control offense and try to play keep away and it almost worked. J.P. Losman didn’t do too much completing 9 of 13 passes for 83 yards. Anthony “A-Train” Thomas had a good game running the ball with 28 carries for 109 yards (3.9 ypc). Lee Evans was the leading receiver with 5 catches for 70 yards. Peerless Price pitched in with 4 catches for 13 yards.

The defense played hard and only allowed 17 points to the high-powered Indianapolis Colts. London Fletcher led the way with 14 tackles. Angelo Crowell was all over the field with 12 tackles. Takeo Spikes had an active game with 9 stops. CB Terrence McGee had 6 tackles and returned a fumble 68 yards for a TD. The Colts ran the ball 29 times for 148 yards (5.1 ypc). The Colts completed 27 of 39 passes for 236 net yards passing.

The Bills plan almost worked.
