Bills vs. Vikings

The Vikings and the Bills mirror each other in style. Neither team scores alot or gives up alot of points. The Vikings average 17 points per game and allow 15 points per game. The Bills average 17.7 points per game and allow 17.7 points per game.

The Vikings run a very conservative offense and will again vs. the Bills on Sunday. The Vikings will try to run the ball first with Chester Taylor (275 yards rushing) and then Brad Johnson will try to chop up the Bills with short passes.

The Bills prefer to run the ball with Willis McGahee (311 yards rushing) to protect JP Losman from making bad decisions with the ball. The problem with that philosophy against the Vikings is that the Vikings are very solid against the run, allowing only 87.0 yards per game rushing and 3.6 yards per carry. At some point Losman will have to take some chances against the Vikings defense.

I like the Vikings here because they will give JP Losman enough rope to hang himself.
