Bills looking bad in pre-season
The Bills have been very bad this pre-season. The Bills are turning the ball over way too much to be effective at all on offense, and it really has hurt the defense because of the short fields that are being set up for the opposition. The Bills running game has looked good (when they are not fumbling the ball) as they have averaged 127.5 yards per game with a robust 4.6 average per carry. The QBs have not been impressive. JP Losman looks like the leader at the position by default. The Bills are averaging 174.5 yards passing per game, while completing 58.6% of their passes.
The defense has played pretty well under the circumstances that the offense gives them. The Bills have been stout against the run holding opponents to 83.5 yards per game and only 3.2 yards per carry. The pass defense has yielded 194.0 yards per game and have let the opposition complete 59.7% of their passes.
